MesaCAN's Client Services offers financial and case management services to individuals and families who are facing an immediate crisis which impacts on their housing, utilities, health and safety. City of Mesa residents apply and are qualified per poverty guidelines and state regulations.

Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC)

CTAC collects demographic data valuable in learning about neighborhoods and provides a clearinghouse for information about economic and social neighborhood development.  CTAC facilitates planning and technical assistance based on citizen identified needs and encompasses the following programs:

IDAs are savings accounts designed to help working individuals and families save for homeownership, educational and small business startup expenses.  Upon completion of the IDA program, match funds are disbursed to appropriate parties for asset purchases.

MesaCAN’s Assets for Arizona Institute™ and its nonprofit partners, NewTowN CDC and Neighborhood Economic Development Corporation provide data management for IDA programs, technical expertise on establishing new programs, evaluation of IDA programs, and expertise on federal match fund applications.

IRS trained volunteers electronically prepare and file returns for low and moderate income individuals and families.

East Valley Men’s Center (EVMC)

The EVMC provides comprehensive case management services and a living facility for 84 adult, single homeless men. Issues addressed are: housing, employment, academic remediation, socialization skills, child support, counseling and recovery services.
